ASM Mustafizur Rahman is formally known as Mohammad Mustafizur Rahman currently working with the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. Previously he worked as an Instructor at the Primary Teachers’ Training Institute (PTI), Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh. He started his career as a Resource Teacher (English) of the Secondary Education Sector Investment Program (SESIP) under the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Moreover, he worked as a part-time teacher of English at Motijheel Government Boys’ High School, Dhaka. He was also involved with the United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB), a voluntary youth and student movement for the United Nations, and the Youth Engagement and Support (YES) group of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), works for anti-corruption movement through cultural and other activities. 
Mustafizur pursued his Bachelor’s degree in English and completed a Bachelor of Education (Professional) degree from Government Teachers’ Training College, Dhaka. He earned dual postgraduate degrees in the field of English language education and teaching. He completed his Master of Arts in English Language Teaching (MA in ELT) degree from East West University, Dhaka. He also received his Master of Education degree from the prestigious Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of Dhaka, where his passion for educational research, teacher education, and academic writing skills. His dedication to academic excellence earned him numerous research publications including government funding in different renowned journals during his postgraduation years. His research interests include academic writing skills, educational theories, blended learning, and education in rural contexts.
